2023 CABIN SHOWSHOE TRIP

What: Cabin Trip & Snowshoeing

When: February 10-13, 2023

Fun weekend trip up to Estes Park with a bit of luxury staying in a cabin and not tents this time. Unfortunately the weather was better than expected. In the 50’s Saturday! This means the snow was less than wanted and the snowshoeing was a bit lacking. For many it was the first time getting not just the experience of walking into RMNP, but walking into the park through the original (now unused) entrance and into Moraine Park. A warm and a little lacking in snow, but beautiful weather to be in the mountains none the less. Great to see our friend Ray again and get hiking with him. Wish him the best on his upcoming move back home to Scotland, he will be missed around here.
