Fall Creek-to-Cross Creek Trail loop
Come join us for a longer backpacking loop in the Holy Cross Wilderness. 3 nights and a total of 26 miles.
Leaving Denver Friday morning, the plan is to be on the trail before noon Friday the 14th. Get in just over 8 miles that day, up and over Fall Creek Pass and make it to the Hunky Dory trail head and camp for the first night. Day two (Saturday) is up and over Fancy Pass and down to the headwaters of Cross Creek. Stropping for the second night somewhere between Reeds Meadows and Martin Creek Trail, around 9 miles. Day three (Sunday) will be a quick last few miles out to the at the Cross Creek trailhead.
There is plenty of extra time planned on this trip and a good chance people will be moving faster than planned and we make it back into Denver earlier than expected.
