Come join us for some crack…. climbing and some camping in Colorados Crack Capital, Turkey Rocks.
Location/Direction:
Turkey rocks is located south east of Cheesman lake and directly south of Deckers. The original campground for the rocks was closed due to the Hayman fire. So this will be dispersed camping. There are 4-5 primitive sites without facilities along fs-360b (green on the map) the plan is to get the large 6 person site near the parking to the rocks. The road has been noted to be passable by hondas but with recent weather holes have been reported. *** The forest service recommends high clearance and 4 wheel / all wheel drive.***
